TULSA, Okla., April 23, 2010 – Stonebridge, a leading information technology consulting firm focused on helping organizations get better results from their people, processes and technology, today announced a major new engagement with a global energy management company to provide business service management (BSM) consulting and implementation services around the BMC Remedy application suite.
The client organization, a multi-billion dollar multinational company, selected Stonebridge to provide project management and implementation services supporting an upgrade from BMC Remedy 6.0 to BMC Remedy 7.6, the latest release of BMC’s industry leading BSM platform. Additionally Stonebridge is providing business intelligence and data integration support to enable Remedy reporting to run on a Cognos business intelligence platform.
According to CEO James Ivy, the competitive win demonstrates that the market sees real value in Stonebridge’s BSM expertise and complementary skill sets, such as business intelligence and advanced analytics. “We are competing with much larger firms and winning,” he said. “In this instance, while our BSM engagement methodology proved to be more comprehensive and more efficient than the competition, we were able to further set ourselves apart because of our deep experience with the Cognos business intelligence suite, which was the client’s existing reporting package.”
The value of contract and the client’s name were not disclosed due to Stonebridge client confidentiality agreements.
