Tactics Opens Oracle-Based Technical Office in Birmingham

ATLANTA, Georgia, July 9, 1997 – Tactics, the leading Oracle systems integrator in the southeast, with headquarters in Atlanta, GA, has opened a technical office in Birmingham, AL. This is the second territory technical office for Tactics this year, complementing three existing regional offices in Atlanta, Memphis and Charlotte. We expect to open two additional technical offices in the southeast before the end of the year. In addition, our staff is distributed across southeastern cities to provide localized Oracle consulting services.

Oracle and leading hardware vendors have encouraged Tactics to expand into this geography to provide the level of quality services that customers in other areas receive from Tactics. We offer a full solution, with value added to the product based on both our comprehensive services along with the goal to always present the correct solution for the customer.

Tactics' office in Birmingham will serve as a focal point for Tactics business in Alabama for Oracle technical consulting services and product sales. Birmingham customers will have immediate access to the high quality Oracle services typifying Tactics across the southeast. For those customers considering a new move to Oracle products, or an upgrade to existing Oracle products, Tactics will provide full sales and support services.

To complement full solution Oracle-based deployments, Tactics can provide the recommended server technology of choice with delivery of Sun, HP, Digital or IBM products, along with the associated services necessary to deploy these servers.

Tactics has provided solutions for advanced database administration, database tuning, custom application development and data warehouse systems for an already established base of customers in Alabama.
