Tactics Supports New Oracle®Authorized Reseller Program
LOS ANGELES, California, September 19, 1997 – Tactics Incorporated today announced its participation in the newly formed Oracle ®Authorized Reseller (OAR) program. The program, announced at the Oracle Alliance Conference, provides qualified Oracle resellers with business development resources, training, education and marketing support to help them effectively and independently promote and sell their Oracle products and services. The focus of the program is coverage into the below $500 million market segment, known as the general business market. By participating in the Oracle Authorized Reseller program, Tactics will be able to provide its customers with better trained technicians who are tuned into the latest Oracle technology through product installation and implementation.
Chosen by Oracle to participate in the Oracle Authorized Reseller program, Tactics will receive an increased level of Oracle support and resources for the term of the contract. The Oracle Authorized Reseller program increases Tactics' ability to independently and successfully sell Oracle technology by providing assigned Oracle sales and sales consultant resources to mentor and assist in sales; funding for marketing and customer lead programs; supplemental Oracle technical and sales training for sales representatives and consultants; and Oracle internal classes. Tactics also receives a dedicated Oracle development team focused on the company. s business development; additional marketing, competitive and technical information, and inclusion in Alliance Online, Oracle's partner-focused website.
