Stonebridge Technologies Launches docTools™ for Livelink® 2.3.0

DALLAS, October 23, 2003 – Stonebridge Technologies, a provider of business and technology integration solutions, today announced the latest release of docTools™ for Livelink®, Stonebridge’s innovative productivity-enhancing module for Livelink, the leading collaboration and knowledge management software from Open Text™ Corporation.

docTools 2.3.0 includes significant new developments designed to increase the user benefits of the native Livelink application, including:

• Livelink Rendition Awareness — When users install the Rendition optional core module, docTools can be configured to use the system default rendition with printing and downloading documents through any docTools feature.
• Support for Livelink Generations — docTools 2.3.0 enables users to download and print Livelink Generations in the same manner in which standard Livelink documents can be downloaded and printed.
• Progress Bar for Client-Side Execution — docTools’ client-side application includes a progress bar indicating progress status. This gives users visual confirmation that in-process tasks are proceeding normally, which is particularly useful when printing or downloading large numbers of documents.
• Naming Conventions for Downloaded Documents — docTools enables Livelink administrators to set naming conventions for downloaded documents. Administrators can specify that the name of a downloaded document match the name of the Livelink document or the name of the file used to create the document.

Stonebridge will demonstrate the new docTools for Livelink 2.3.0 at Open Text’s annual LiveLinkUp user conference, to be held November 3-6 in Orlando, Fla.

Stonebridge, an Open Text Affinity Partner, created docTools for Livelink to enable users to print and download multiple documents simultaneously. Users can print and save documents from the Search Results page or from a specific folder in Livelink. docTools supports all document types native to the user’s client desktop.

The enhancements included in 2.3.0 complement docTools’s core user benefits:

• Faster Document Printing — Users can print multiple Livelink documents directly, without fetching or viewing individual documents.
• Enhanced Efficiency — Users can download and print multiple documents simultaneously rather than working with one document at a time.
• Ease of Use — docTools uses the familiar Livelink menu options and nomenclature.

docTools for Livelink 2.3.0 works with Livelink 9.1 on any platform currently supported by Open Text. docTools is available for Windows clients and supports both Netscape and Internet Explorer browsers. docTools for Livelink is available for evaluation at www.sbti.com.
