Stonebridge Technologies Announces Alliance With Sybase to Offer Best-of-Breed Business Intelligence Solutions
DALLAS, November 3, 2003 – Stonebridge Technologies, a leading provider of business and technology integration services, today announced it has formed a new marketing and reseller alliance with Sybase, Inc. (NYSE: SY), a leading provider of enterprise infrastructure and mobile software. Stonebridge customers will greatly benefit from this new relationship because the combined technology will allow them to create business intelligence solutions that help them make faster, more accurate decisions, comply with regulatory reporting and lower their total cost of ownership for analytical applications.
The agreement specifically provides Stonebridge with the rights to market, resell and implement IQTM 12.5, Sybase’s highly scalable analytical engine. Based on recent TPC-H benchmarks, Sybase IQ 12.5 is a category leader as a business intelligence and enterprise data warehousing infrastructure, with market-leading price-performance, and storage efficiency, as well as lowest total cost of ownership. Business intelligence and data warehousing are major areas of market emphasis for Stonebridge. Stonebridge's business intelligence practice specializes in technology assessments, systems environment build-out, tool evaluation and deployment, and custom application development.
"Stonebridge is extremely pleased to announce Sybase as our newest alliance partner," said Gary Moore, Stonebridge Technologies' executive vice president of business development and marketing. "As a systems integrator, we are committed to bringing best-of-breed software and tools to bear for the benefit of our clients, and in so doing, to create business intelligence solutions that help our clients manage costs and lower total cost of ownership for analytical applications. Sybase's product suite, and in particular its Sybase IQ analytical engine, is a clear category leader that we feel will bring long-term value to our clients."
"Sybase is committed to working in partnership with top-tier developers of enterprise data management solutions, and we are pleased Stonebridge Technologies has chosen Sybase IQ as part of their market offering,” added Thomas Volk, executive vice president of Sybase’s Infrastructure Platform Group. “Sybase and Stonebridge share a common vision of rapidly and efficiently transforming data into economic value for our enterprise customers."
Sybase IQ 12.5, the highly scalable analytical engine, is designed specifically from the ground up for unsurpassed query performance and the lowest total cost of ownership for organizations’ analytical applications. With the Sybase IQ 12.5 business intelligence infrastructure, users can build and manage even the largest enterprise data warehouses efficiently and economically.
